Fantastic Piece !!

This is believed to be a Viking, Celtic, or Medieval
cloak brooch. Yes, this is a real piece and NOT a copy of any kind.This came from a farmer's field in Europe in the early 1900's and was brought home in the 1940's.  I have owned this since  the late 1960's. It is made of roughly  cast silver and has a loop at the top for a thong. I have tried researching this in Europe  for years and run into a gray area between Viking and Medieval. Few people seem able to pinpoint closer.Perfect condition. No damage or repairs of any kind. I have never seen another like it.

Nice little Precolumbian pitcher.
Was brought into the US in the 1920's. No repairs. This is intact and is NOT a pot put back together from pieces. I have owned this since the early 1960's. Stands approximately 6" tall.
Great little bit of art.

$ 250.

  Dome Top Wagon Trunk

Dome Top Wagon Trunk

This is an actual piece that  was carried west on a wagon train, returned to New England in the 1920's where it was bought by us in the 70's , and brought back out west in 1992. Wheww, lot of miles there over approximately a hundred and twenty five years. In absolutely incredible condition complete with the original blacksmith made key, handles, straps. Even better, this has a spring loaded latch that automatically locks when closed. Works as new and you do need the key to open it. All handles, paint, deed box, etc are ORIGINAL. Domed top is pegged. Tapers in from the ends and also tapers in from the sides. One of the finest pieces of it's kind I have ever seen and I have owned several of these. A true museum piece in excellent condition.

Completely Stenciled/painted Early Blanket Chest
We found this boarded up in the attic eaves of an early New Hampshire family home we owned a number of years ago. Have never seen anything quite like it. This is a nice 6 board blanket chest ca. early 1800's completely stenciled/painted on the original green base paint. Great condition with the exception of the original hinges, which are nearly always torn out or missing on these old chests, and one easily repairable crack in the top.Does need a lid for the deed compartment inside.The eaves of this house were boarded up in the 1920's after a fire. This is an extremely unusual and attention getting piece. If you wish more photos,measurements, etc, email us.

Ancient Dovetail Pot

Nice Condition.
For all I know this is from Colonial America. The story I have though, is that this was an artifact brought in from the Holy Land at the end of WW1. It is approx. 6 1/2" high and approx. 8" diameter. Hopefully someone out there will know far more than I just what it is.

I do not know just how old this piece is, but it was brought into the US in 1912 from the Far East. Approximately 5" high and bottom is 5 5/8" diameter. Hopefully someone out there will know far more than I just what it is.
